Last weekend, I went to a popular Christian tour concert called Winterjam at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. This year, the line was a lot fucking longer than in 2009. In the line, My friend Levi and I did the Chop-Chop slide, which really surprised and amused a bunch of the Christians. Also, My brother Tyler and I noticed that most of the people atending the concert were white. He and I decided to play a game, to see who can count the most non-caucasion people. I forfeited when I only had two, and Tyler had six. After that, everyone was white. We saw this one kid wearing a hat with a rebel flag design, and we said, "How Christian of him." That's when it hit me. All of these Christians, a shit-load of Bible-thumping, Jesus-loving people had only one thing in common. That was their faith. A Christian who hates "Colored people," with his other biggot friends, professing a faith that accepts all "children of god." I compared the line to pictures of a Gathering I saw on the internet, and the Winterjam concert was almost as packed. I thought about like what would this be if it were a Juggalo gathering or concert. There would be no rebel flags, no-one pissed at a person for cutting or tripping in line, no-one pissed at someone for smoking or drinking, and no one who would exchange dirty looks at each-other based on color, or other stupid shit. BECAUSE ALL JUGGALOS ARE FAMILY. Tyler and I met another Juggalo brother, and his beautiful family while waiting in line. We talked about how ICP and other Psychopathic Records artists never come near our towns, Danville and Harrodsburg. He talked about how he and his wife drove all the way to Detroit to see Insane Clown Posse live in concert. And that was five years ago. He had an orange shirt, and a silver Hatchetman charm. Ok .. I became aware of a stigma that is put on the hardcore fan of ICP and psycopathic records. Also known as the Juggalo. Jessica brought it to my attention that there is an interview bashing Icp and their music by a certain news channel. FUCK THEM. I won't even say where it is cause I don't want to spread that kind of thought around. They call ICP's music "nursery rhymes filled with murder." In my belief, it does not matter about what type of music it is. It matters on what type of person is listening to the music.

And now that there have been a couple crimes committed by people who call themselves Juggalos we are all the sudden a gang? And then the man asks ICP, "Don't you think you should take the blame for their violence?" ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? If I write about a man raping a woman and I let a man read it and he turns around and rapes someone am I responsible for him raping her? I do not believe the crock of shit that if you listen to Marilyn Manson you are going to be a devil worshipper and kill people. I LISTEN TO MARYLIN MANSON AND ICP. Does that make me a bad person?!?!

So I call myself a Juggalette, does that make me a psycho killer?! It means I carry the hatchet with pride... because ICP and Twiztid's music has helped me get through some tough times. It helped me escape from my mom and the horror that was going on in my life. It is violent music.. there is no denying it. But it was my release when I just wanted to say fuck the world and end it all. Being a Juggalo is about FAMILY. It is about the outcasts of society having someone/something to relate to. This pissed me off so bad. And I believe Violent J and Shaggy did an amazing job talking with that asshole that interviewed them. They held thier position very well. And I am proud to be a follower of thier music.

I personally have been a listener since the 3rd grade. Am I a bad person for it? FUCK NO. It disgusts me. That is all...
